เมื่อโจรกลับไปแล้ว ผู้จัดการธนาคารสั่งให้รองผู้จัดการโทรหาตำรวจที่เบอร์ 191 แต่ผู้จัดการธนาคารกลับค้านว่า "เดี๋ยวๆๆ ใจเย็นๆ โจรเอาเงินไปเท่าไหร่ เรามานับกันก่อน แล้วบอกตำรวจว่าโจรเอาไปมากกว่านั้นอีก 5 ล้าน"

วันถัดมา ทีวีทุกช่องออกข่าวกันว่ามีโจรปล้นธนาคาร 100 ล้านบาท แต่ว่าโจรที่ปล้นไปนับแล้วนับอีก ไม่ว่าจะนับกี่รอบ ก็นับได้แค่ 20 ล้านบาทเท่านั้น โจรโกรธมากแล้วพูดว่า "เราเสี่ยงตายและปล้นธนาคารออกมาได้แค่ 20 ล้านบาท แต่เจ้าผู้จัดการธนาคารแค่มันหัวไวนิดเดียว มันทำเงินได้ถึง 80 ล้านบาทเลย การศึกษามีดีอย่างนี้นี่เอง"

เราเรียกสิ่งนี้ว่า "ความรู้มีค่ามากกว่าทองคำ"
